Fannie's Fan

This is an 8 x 8 barn quilt I made this summer.  It looks great on this building! The pattern is called Fannie's Fan - I love the variety of colors!

Carpenter's Square

This is 6 x 6 barn quilt called Carpenter's Square.  This design is a real favorite! It always looks stunning.

Dakota Star

This 8 x 8 barn quilt is called Harvest Star.  What a stunning design.  You can find it nestled in the Loess Hills of western Iowa!

Twin Star on Corn Crib

This is the Twin Star on the corn crib at the fair.

This 2 x 2 barn quilt is called Twin Star.  It was donated to the Woodbury County Fair Old Town.

Time & Tide on Corn Crib

This is the 2 x 2 "Time & Tide" on the corn crib at the fair.  Kids could ride pedal tractors through the corn crib.  It was a big hit!

Fannie's Fan

This is an 8 x 8 barn quilt called Fannie's Fan. This was so fun to make with all the different colors.  There are nine different colors of paint in this barn quilt.  It was like making a quilt out of fabric!

Garden Star

This is a 3 x 3 barn quilt called Garden Star. Bright, cheerful colors!

Summer Winds

This is a 2 x 2 barn quilt called Summer Winds.  This is on a miniature barn at Old Town at the Woodbury County Fair.

Rolling Star

The rolling star is one of my most popular designs.  Here is a 4 x 4 in deep, rich burgundy, navy and hunter green.  The white really sets of the dark colors.

Carpenter's Square

This is an 8 x 8 Carpenter's Square.  This is such a popular design.  It is such a classic pattern and looks great in the burgundy, navy and white.

Weathervane

This is on the other side of the post from the previous post.  This 2 x 2 is called weathervane.

Twinkling Star

This is a new 2 x 2 barn quilt that I hung at the end of my driveway.

 

Unknown design

This is an 8 x 8 design that I worked on this winter.  I have customized several of my barn quilts for my customers. If anyone knows the name of this block, let me know!

 

Twirling Star

This 4 x 4 is called Twirling Star. You can find this one in Minnesota somewhere! Let me know if you see it!

Rolling Star

This pattern is called the rolling star.  I have done this block several times.  I customed this 4 x 4 barn quilt with the letter "F" in the corner.



Twin Star

This is a 4 x 4 block called Twin Star.  It is a variation of the popular Ohio Star. The purple, blue, green, yellow, and orange make a very colorful barn quilt!

T Block

This 4 x 4 barn quilt is called the "T" block.  Each of the four colors creates the letter "T". The white create a good contrast to the navy, green, gold and dark red.

Rolling Star

This 4 x 4 barn quilt is the rolling star pattern.  I really like the combination of dark red, blue and green with the white.  Very striking colors!
