This is a custom 4 x 4 barn quilt that I made as a surprise gift for a customer's husband.  What a unique gift and wonderful surprise!  As you can see by the design, the gift was for an airplane pilot.  I am happy to work with my customers on customizing their barn quilt with colors and designs to make them unique to you!

This is a 6 x 6 barn quilt called time and tide.  Most of my barn quilts have a border, but this one the design goes to the edge of the barn quilt. This was made as a birthday present.  Barn quilts make great gifts!

Monona County Twirling Star

This is a 4 x 4 barn quilt that I just made for a couple from Monona County, Iowa.  I love the way they have mounted it.  What a great picture with the corn field and rolling hills in the background!

Woodbury County Fair

Pedal Tractor Farm 2013

The Woodbury County Fair is starting a display of Barn Quilts of Woodbury County. The display will be located in the Old Glory Dance Hall.  If you would like to include your barn quilt, please e-mail a picture to coachgrinch@hotmail.com along with the address where the quilt is located.  This year's fair runs from July 30 to August 3, 2014!

Star within a Star on shed

This is the star within a star hung on this shed.  These colors really pop on this white building.  Red and yellow are great colors to catch your eye.  I love seeing pictures of my barn quilts on buildings.

This 8 x 8 bar quilt is called a star within a star. That is what I am calling it anyway, because I am not sure of the name!  I made it in four 4 x 4 squares so it could easily be transported.  This beauty is in Wisconsin!

This is a 6 x 6 barn quilt that I finished just in time for Christmas.  It was a gift so I moved it to my kitchen table to work on it in the warmth of the house!
