La Moyne Star 4

This block is called LaMoyne Star 4.  It is a variation of the LaMoyne Star.  It is a 2 x 2 block that says, " GO CYCLONES!"

Time & Tide

This quilt pattern is called time and tide.  I think the yellow makes the star look like it is shining. The star is done in two tones of red.

Twirling Star

This is a 8 x 8 quilt block called twirling star.  It is very dramatic with the black in the background.

State Fair Block at the Woodbury County Fairgrounds

This is the State Fair block that is mounted on the south end of the beef barn at the Woodbury County Fair in Moville, Iowa.  The colors remind me of the purple, blue and red ribbons that are awarded at the fair.  I hope everyone enjoys seeing it at the fair this year!

Sadler Star

This is the same design as I have on my building. This is a 2 x 2 block.  I called it Sadler Star because I am not sure of the "offical name", but I think Sadler Star is fitting! I made a fabric quilt with this pattern in red and greens.

State Fair

This block is called State Fair.  The colors are gold, red , dark green and purple.  I like how the gold pops out.
